World On Fire is the 5th studio album from Los Angeles based Blue Eyed Christ and first for Distortion Productions. BEC is the brainchild of John Norten, a veteran in the electro industrial field. The first album by BEC was on the fondly remembered KK Records/Cargo and smashed clubs in the 90s with the single “Catch My Fall”. From appearances on Re Constriction Records’ comps Shut Up Kitty and Rivet Head Culture to a side project with Groovie Mann (Thrill Kill Kult) called Trash Deity, John has had a profound influence on the industrial scene over the years. On World On Fire, John has called in En Esch (KMFDM/Pigface) and Mea Fisher (Lords of Acid) on the title track. World On Fire deals with real world themes and threats that are facing us every day.
