Distortion is very excited to announce the addition of Charlotte, North Carolina’s synthpop act IIOIOIOII (Pronounced IO). IIOIOIOII has been an active band since 2012 and is best described as dark and atmospheric electronic synthpop taking inspiration from classic New Wave and Industrial music. IIOIOIOII takes on lush soundscapes and heavy melodic elements and combines them with hard hitting beats. Together with smooth vocals IIOIOIOII combines it all to form an emotional and introspective moment you can dance to.
